| | It is a permanent resort in Romania. People can benefit from various medical treatments both in winter and summer.
The natural landscape includes mountains and depressions with cool summers and mild winters. The resort is famous for its mineral water springs (rich in carbons, chlorides or sodium) which are used in the treatment of some diseases of the digestive tract and the annexal glands, endocrinologic diseases, diseases of the kidneys and of the urinary tract, diseases of the locomotor system, cardiovascular system, nervous system and skin diseases.
