| Sf. Gheorghe - The town | | | | Sf. Gheorghe is the capital of the county and it is 30 km far from Brasov and 600 metres above the sea level.
Every year on the 23rd of April (when St. George`s day is celebrated according to the Orthodox calendar) many tourists and local people gather together to celebrate "the Days of the Town". They listen to music, they eat the traditional "small sausages", they drink beer and they watch funny short plays and shows.
There is also a park where young people in love, children and old people spend their sunny afternoons under the shades of the tall trees in this park.
People who enjoy shopping can do their shopping in the different stores.
One can also visit the "Gyarfas Jeno" Memorial House as well as the National Szeckler Museum. | |
