| | | Once the Transylvanian Society of Natural Sciences created in 1849, one practically laid the foundations of the actual Natural Science Museum, as remarkable personalities from different scientific and cultural fields who were part of this Society left to the generations to come many collections and works of a special significance. Thus the basic exhibition of the museum is called `the Systematic of the Animal World`; beside it there may be found collections of over a million exhibits among which a collection of botany, zoology and mineralogy. | |
