| Medias ? the Old Town Centre | | | | Just like in all European medieval cities, the centre of the town of Medias was the meeting point of small artisans and merchants in the area.
The small manufacturers of cereals, glass, textiles and the potters gathered in the centre of the town in order to sell their products. The old centre was also used as a market by the inhabitants of the fortress. Along the centuries, the square changed in appearance, but it preserved its interest through the park and the artesian well here where the local people meet to talk about the latest political news and go for walks. | |
