Bucuresti / Bucharest - The capital of Romania
The capital of Rumania was founded as a capital of the Romanian Country ( Wallaquia) by Vlad the Impaler. The name of the city came from the name of a Sheppard named Bucur which establish his sheepfold in that region and from his name came the actual name of the Romanian capital, Bucuresti. Because the destruction of the communist regim our capital does not have many old buildings but it remains enough to be visited. For example, The Triumph Arch, The Victory Street an old promenade street, The Royal Palace, The Romanian Atheneum, The Revolution Square, The Parlament House, The House of Press and many more.
A travel in Bucarest which was called The Littlle Paris in the XIX-een century because of the style of houses and the way of life, it is a very interesting for a foray in to the history of the city.
