The city of Sighisoara
Castrum Sex, Seespruch, Segusvar, Sighisoara denominate the same place from Transylvania : the city of Sighisoara. Documentary atested in 1280 on the valley of the Mures river, these city was built by the same saxon colonists which was brought here by the hungarian crown. The city was grown as economic importance and cultural too, and in to the XV-een century we have here a place famous in all Europe for hese economicand cultural life and that`s way many people from Austria, Germany, Italy or France was coming here. Together with them was coming ansd settled here for 3 years Vlad Dracul a son of one of the moust important and famous rullers of Wallaquia, Mircea the Old, (1386-1418) and the father of Vlad the Impaler known all over the world as Dracula.
The city is a real medieval city which preserve the atmosphere from that times and in the same time here will find a former Dominican church, now protestant, a gothic protestant church which have inside three valuable things : the single crypt known from Transylvania, a represantation in fresco of Saint Trinity which does not exists just in another 2-3 places in Europe painted in the same style, and a painted theme very populare in the XV-een - XVI-een century Holy Kinship with very intersting symbols. Another important building wich offer a beautiful view over the city is the Clock Tower and the puppets which trim the exterior of the tower in it`s supperior part.
