Covasna County lies in the centre of Romania bordering Brasov County in the west, Harghita County in the North, Bacau County in the east and Buzau County in the south.
Balneary and climatic resorts intertwine with the amazing natural landscape and offer comfort and fun-having.
 Balvanyos - Resort  

Balvanyos is 81km far from Brasov and 800-950 metres above the sea level. It is a full-season resort where different cardiovascular, gastric or rheumatologic diseases are treated. Just like in Covasna resort, there are mineral water springs rich in carbons here as well. The mountain landscape rich in rare species of trees and bushes invites to walking in the fresh air. Balvanyos is a tranquil place where one can have a wonderful time.

Situated near the resort bearing the same name the fortress was built in the 11th century.

Also called "the resort of the one thousand health springs", Covasna is about 60 km far from Brasov and 250 km far from Bucharest.

Situated in the central part of the town of Covasna, it is in fact a hole in the shape of a well, where eruptions (carbon dioxide releases) of the mud bubbles take place. The continuous gas (98% carbon dioxide) releases gathered in specially-designed places called mofettes is one of the natural factors used in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
 Covasna - The Fairies` Fortress  

The Fairies` Fortress dates from the time when our ancestors (the Daco-Romans) lived, from Burebista`s reign.
 Dobarlau - Marcus Monastery  

Having as patron the St. Romans, this monastery has the name of the village founded in 1958 and, later on, demolished in 1960. In 1991 the monastery started being rebuilt.
 Pucioasa Cave  

Also known as the "Sulphur Cave", it is situated in Balvanyos. The first documents about it appeared in 1349. Inside the cave, hydrogen sulphide and carbon dioxide are released. These concentrated gases are dangerous for anyone who dares to enter this cave.
 Reci - Nature Reserve  

Reci Nature Reserve is situated in the village of Reci (in the place of a former Dacic settlement) in Covasna County. This reserve consists of moors which hide numberless rare species of plants, tress and bushes: the small birch, the fern etc.
 Sf. Gheorghe - The town  

celebrate "the Days of the Town". according to the Orthodox calendar) many tourists and local people gather together to Sf. Gheorghe is the capital of the county and it is 30 km far from Brasov and 600 metres above the sea level. Every year on the 23rd of April (when St. George`s day is celebrated
St. Ana Lake  St. Ana Lake  

St. Ana Lake is one of the 3450 lakes in Romania and it is the only volcanic lake in this country. Being "only one" one may say that nature endowed us with an excellent tourist attraction. It is situated in the crater of Mount Ciomatu.
 Valea Mare - Monastery  

Having as patron St. John the Baptist, this monk monastery was built in 1998.
