The men's costume in the Lower Danube area is characterized by the very large variety of the hat, namely: we draw round in fur and with circle or zagara (the cuff attached to the base of the hat), but also by wearing the hat with the round cap , high and small boron on holidays, times, depending on it's metallic and brilliant. With the ornamental wealth of the bells, the ornamental shrubs of the shirts are also awarded, and they also begin to widen the rivers on their sleeves. Changing chromatic preferences, refined olive tones give away the strong shades of red, black, burgundy and lilac.

The most obvious agreement of the motifs, the ornamental and chromatic compositions between the shirt and the photo, extended to the valley and the marble, is found in the port of Arges. The sumptuousness and elegance of the veil and the wool jupe made the costume of Muntenia worthwhile and made it famous and appreciated unanimously.

The woolen skirt of Arges was worn independently, but also the front of the camera. On the monochrome background of the fabric of woolen fabric, usually black or red, there are geometric motifs (circles, diamonds, squares) or floral, distributed in horizontal strips on the skirt and on the vertical stripes to the extremities and in the form of a border embroidery called "zavelca".

Thanks to the sewn, non-woven decoration, and the intense use of gold and silver threads, sequins and sails, the skirt of the small wool fabric and the photo by Arges, it is an original creation within the Romanian folk costume. At the beginning of the 20th century the Muscel costume extends a lot and in other areas it also reaches the villages of Bucovina. The beauty of the Muscel costume has seen a great celebrity attracting the attention of painters like Nicolae Grigorescu, Carol Popp of Szathmary, Michel Bouquet, who immortalized him in their valuable works.

All pieces of the Muscel costume lead to the creation of an impressive garment ensemble, including the borangic veil, a fine fabric, long 4 m long, richly decorated, all over the surface or only to the extremities, with geometric or floral or polychrome ornaments made of cotton, silk, gold and silver threads, arranged in romboid fields.

The Muscel shirt, also known as "jece", is characterized by the opulence of decoration and the often used decoration elements, being the reason known as "kites" or "skirts", similar to the aligned crenels (the ribs aligned on one side of the rib)

Another part of the women's clothing ensemble is black and blue, red or white, simply decorated before 1800, with stripes to the extremities, with hand-shaped geometric motifs or woven wounds. Later, the Muscel type suffered the amplification of the decoration, which can cover the whole edge of the edges. The white cloth made of textile fiber only entered the port of the wedding ceremony, being the favorite of young girls.

The use of silver or silver thread silk and the richness of the ornamentation made the Muscel sort in the fairs. Adapted due to the reputation, in the costume of other geographical areas, the Muscel kind became a mark, a model, a national sign and a piece of the Romanian national costume.

In the configuration of the Romanian folk costume from Muntenia, the ensembles in Arges and Muscel preserve the simple line of their structure, with a balanced and refined chromatic ornament that gives them a special elegance. In this space you can see the old shirt with the embroidered plate on the collar, on the outside of the sleeves, on the sides of the opening of the shirt and the skirt. These embroidery is made of wool, twisted cotton yarn, twine and metallic thread.

The shirt with skirt skirt in the north of the Danube is spread along the Carpathians, the Danube and northern Moldavia.  Zigzag seams and white embroidery, discreetly connected with a metallic thread, are the characteristic features of the men's costume.

The Italians are of a white, simple or ornament (chords and hooves), over the fake pockets, along with the ilum black black, on the neck, long to the waist, with two rows of buttons, or the cotton trouser pants in carnations, diamonds, complete the men's ensemble. In winter, the illicit, cojoacele, white-haired clothes, embroidered clothes, dulama, white-woolen coat or flowers are worn.

In the entire harbor of Muntenia, the costume in Teleorman and Ilfov with some common notes on the ornamental interpretation in the category of women, the women's port is based on the presence of two differently dimensioned and ornamented objects. As a deauspra specific to these areas, the "white goulash" with ornamental plains more developed at the waist level embroidered with red tones, surprisingly accentuates the femininity of the silhouette.

The costume in Teleorman has as distinctive elements, the atic, the insalted shirt, the right "zoroclie" shirt and the two worn bears have particular elements. The specific feature of the Teleorman scarf is the striped ornamentation, executed either in a woven bobbin with thicker white cotton yarns or with a stripe with a striped width, initially ab, then colored blue or yellow all over the surface or only on the edges, and in this need and in this space the gold or silver thread is inserted.

In all areas of Wallachia, the kerchief (batic) is fixed on the height of the forehead, often in a continuous line. On the forehead, under the batik, women wear gold "icusari" gold stitches, sewn on a black ribbon.

Vlasca, is manifested in the women's costume with "Pesteman" and the cat. The Pesteman's décor forms a colorful frame that surrounds a black or navy field, pleated, a field that corresponds to the neornamental part of the straight bellows. On the front pocket, with the predominant olive background, they are grouped with a precise rhythm, paralleled colored dots. As in the other areas, the shirt maintains the classic mood in the decor of the sleeves with the other in the cut, respecting the three well-defined basic components: the other, the crest, the rails or the sheet. The dominant tones of the embroidery are red except for the crest where ocher is preferred.

On the skirt, the phytomorphic, avimorphic and anthropomorphic ornaments are grouped in a compact way descending to the threshold. The picture that has been molded on the entire surface is worn back. Jupa jumping is decorated with red and blue tassels. The girls' girls are decorated with sequins, while the women are beaded. In the localities of the eastern Teleorman area in winter, the ensembles of women's and men's harbors are complemented by the famous "cosoaie" cojoace and are richly ornamented with vegetal motifs and polychrome rosettes.

Another clothing article was the 20-24 twisted crease, decorated with plant motifs sewn with polychrome wool on the waist on the front and on the sleeves.

Illicitly, and the coat, the man dressed "cheba", a chest of gray, three quarters to the hip, with sleeves, a collar around his neck or a large collar like a capison and decorated with laces. The cloak is wearing a crinkled cloak called immukluc, of dimie, in the natural color of the chain up to the gypsy, made of four or five pieces (widths), sewn in horizontal lines. This cuff, with or without a sleeve, has side cuffs, a straight collar and a hoodie called "chepeneag" embellished with creases.

Harmony, balance, art and technical virtuosity, refinement of decoration and coloring, characterize the elements of the ensemble of the men and women's harbor in Muntenia.
