The funerals of King Mihai I-st of Romania are today. We are living a historic moment and a sad one in the same time. May God rest his soul !

Today Romania it leads on the last road, It`s king, Mihai I. A historical day for all of us.
Bucharest, Dec 16 /Agerpres/( Romanian Press Agency) - Thousands of common people, his daughters as well as representatives of European Royal Houses paid a last homage to King Mihai in his last night at the Royal Palace. Among the royal figures paying respects to King Mihai were King Juan Carlos I of Spain and Queen Sofia of Spain, and Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg.
King Juan Carlos I and Queen Sofia arrived at the bier of King Mihai a little after 20:15 to present their condolences to the Royal Family of Romania, the Custodian of the Romanian Crown, Princess Margareta, her sisters and Prince Radu of Romania. The Spanish royalties and the other representatives of European Royal Houses stayed for over an hour at the Royal Palace.
Interior Ministry's head of Department for Emergency Situations Raed Arafar also came in front of the Royal Palace, to lay flowers.
All through Friday night the pilgrimage to King Mihai's bier continued in front of the Royal Palace same as on the nights of Wednesday and Thursday, other thousands of people being present to pay a last homage to King Mihai.
The line they made up surrounded the Royal Palace, from the Victoriei Road, going down on Stirbei Boulevard to the plateau in front of the Palace Hall.
Dressed in mourning clothes and holding candles and flowers, the people standing in several lines waited for hours to bid farewell to the former monarch of Romania.
The Directorate General for Social Assistance of the Municipality of Bucharest (DGASMB) distributed tea and hot soup to the people waiting in line at the Royal Palace, and the Red Cross of Romania representatives also offered hot tea to the people from a tent set up near one of the central access gates of the palace.
At 22:00, an about one hour break was taken to prepare the Throne Hall for the Saturday ceremonies, and then the access for the public was resumed.
