Book our multi country combined tour to Romania and Hungary and discover during a week the most important attractions of these countries, their culture, history, traditions and gastronomy. It is a selection of big cities Bucharest and Budapest, old medieval towns, castles, fortresses and rural life.

Day by Day Itinerary:

Day 1. Bucharest – arrival
Meet our guide in the airport (recommended arrival time up to 2.00PM) Transfer to the city. In the afternoon discover Bucharest through a panoramic and walking tour. Main sites: Parliament Palace (outside visit), Revolution Square, Athenaeum, Triumph Arch, Old Town, aso.
Overnight at Duke Hotel**** or similar, central location.

Day 2 Bucharest - Sinaia – Bran - Brasov
Leave the city on the route to Sinaia. Visit the Peles Castle, former summer residence of the Romanian kings. Peles castle is considered one of the best castles in Europe.
Continue your journey to Bran with it’s famous Bran castle. Also called Dracula`s Castle, the castle got its fame from Dracula`s legend written in 1897 by Bram Stoker and later on made into a film by Francis Ford Coppola.. The first documents about the Bran Castle appeared in 1377.
End the day in Brasov with a visit of the medieval center of Brasov, The main sites are: Council Square, Black Chuch, White and Black Towers, Weaver’s Bastion and Ecaterina’s Gate, St Nicholas Church, The Rope’s street, a.s.o.
Accomodation at Bella Muzica Hotel *** or similar, located in the Old Town.

Day 3: Brasov - Prejmer – Sighisoara – Sibiu
Breakfast. Depart from Brasov to explore the saxon heritages from the area. First stop at Prejmer Fortress, one of the best preserved of its kind in Eastern Europe The church is modeled after churches of Jerusalem, as well as built in the style of Late Gothic churches. Depart to Sighisoara, aslo called the Pearl of Transylvania. Visit the medieval town:: Clock Tower and History Museum, Birth place of Vlad Tepes (Vlad the Impaler), Covered stairs, Church on the Hill, towers and fortifications…
End the day in Sibiu. Overnight at Levoslav Hotel**** or similar, located in the Old Town.

Day 4 Sibiu - Hunedoara – Sibiu
In the morning visit to Sibiu – one of the most important medieval cities from Transylvania. Highlights: Big Square, Little Square, Orthodox and Evanghelic Cathedrals, Liars bridge, aso.
The surrounding villages of Sibiu, known as “Marginimea Sibiului” are the best places to see the life of the Transylvanian villages. We’ll go in one of these villages and you’ll enjoy a tour of the village in horse driven wagon, as a local villager still does form time to time. Enjoy a lunch in a local house with home made food and drinks.
Posibility to visit the museum of the painted icons, a highlight of the village.
Return to Sibiu. Overnight in the same hotel.

Day. 5 Sibiu – Train Ride - Budapest
In the morning we’ll transfer you to the train station for your train ride to Budapest.(first class tickets included). Arriving in Budapest in the afternoon. Private transfer to the hotel.
Overnight at Arcadia Hotel**** or similar, central located.

Day 6 Budapest
Join a group tour of Budapest. Optional we can offer a private tour!
3-hour-long city tour and Parliament visit. Erzsebet Square, Opera House, Heroes Square/Millenium Memorial (photostop), downtown, Erzsebet Bridge, panorama view to the banks of the River Danube with famous public buildings, panorama view from Gellert Hill (photostop), walk in the Castle district, Matthias Church (outside), Fishermen Bastion, panorama view to the city, Margit Bridge.
Visit the House of Parliament: first outside then inside the impressive building with its magnificent neogothic chambers and staircases, the home of the Hungarian Holy Crown. The program ends in front of the House of Parliament. (Note: this tour maybe changed to a city tour by boat, inquire for details)
Free time at your leisure aprox 3 hrs
In the evening (7.00 PM) join another our of Budapest by night. Enjoy the Hungarian capital on the night lights from the best panoramic view point. The evening is ending with a 3 course dinner with wine and folcklore show.

Day 7. Budapest - Esztergom - Visegrad - Szentendre – Budapest
Join group tour. Optional we can offer a private tour!
Visits at . Esztergom: the oldest Hungarian Royal Residence and ecclesiastic centre. Visit the Basilica; Visegrad: unique panorama view from the Citadel and 3-course-lunch with wine in a nice restaurant; Szentendre: walk round the Mediterranean-like town then visit the Caprice Hungarian jewellery museum including multimedia presentation, factory visit and jewellery exhibition. During the summer we’ll enjoy a boat cruise on the Danube river on the way back to Budapest. The tour ends in Budapest city centre.

Day 8 Budapest – departure
Private transfer to the airport according with your flight times.
