Private Guided Tour. Duration: 3 / 4 hours
It’s a perfect choice for the ones which have a central accommodation and want to explore the old district of Bucharest. The guide will meet with you at your hotel and you’ll start the walking tour from there.
We’ll start in the Old District with Lipscani street, Stavropolus church, Capsa Hotel, Manuc Inn, a.s.o. Continue with Royal Palace (nowdays the seat of National Art Museum - optional visit), Atheneum, Revolution Square, Calea Victoriei Avenue, Unirii Square, Parliament Palace  (outside only) a "giant" built during the "golden age" of the dictatorial regime and born in the mind of a man for whom the notion of "reasonable size" did not exist. The Guiness Book of World Records lists the building in second place according to its 330,000 sq.m. surface, that is after the Pentagon building, and in third place according to its 2,550,000 c.m. volume.
We’ll visit the Old Princely Court. The first local place of residence was built during the rule of Vlad the Impaler in the 15th century and Radu cel Frumos moved the princely residence and the Wallachain capital to Bucharest. In the 16th century Mircea Ciobanul rebuilt it completely and afterward it became the nucleus of the Bucharest, being surrounded by the houses of traders and craftsmen.
