Join our special Halloween Tour in the old medieval Transylvania, the only tour which provide Special Nighttime Events in the best, oldest and famous castles from Romania and one of the most known from Europe – Hunyad Castle and Bran Castle!
We have prepared a special tour for this event to trace the foots steps of the "Real Dracula". Travel with your specialist tour guide to ancient residents of this phenomenon where Vlad use to dwell. Discover the truth and the myth of this unique legend. We have also included important elements of Romanian sightseeing places and history on this tour.

Day 1. October 29th; ARRIVAL IN BUCHAREST
Arriving on Bucharest International Airport. Transfer to the hotel. Check-in starting at 14:00.
Afternoon at your leisure.
In the evening at 19:30, welcome reception, including International menu buffet dinner and open bar 2 hours (whisky, vodka, palinka, beer, wine, soft drinks, water, coffee)
Overnight at: Intercontinental Hotel*****, located in the central area of Bucharest

Day 2. October 30th; BUCHAREST - POIENARI - SIBIU
Breakfast  Check-out latest at 07:45
Departure at 08:00, start your journey on Vlad the Impaler (Dracula) trail with a visit at his true castle. We’ll go to Curtea de Arges, the former second capital of Wallachia. See the Arges Monastery which is a recreation of the original built in 1512 -1517 by prince Neagoe Basarab (rebuilt in 1875 – 1885).
Close by is the Poienari Castle. Standing on a cliff but now in ruins this is known as the real castle of Dracula (Vlad Tepes). To get to the top you must climb up its 1400 steps (takes approx. 1 hour). Once you arrive to the top of the Citadel you will find that the citadel is surprisingly small, one third has collapsed down the mountainside in 1888.
Lunch at 14:00 in a traditional restaurant near Poienari castle, set meniu with drinks included (coffee, water, soft drinks)
Departure from Poienari at 16:00 by bus, we’ll start the journey across the Carpathians Mountains through the beautiful Olt River Valley. Arrival in Sibiu at 19:30, check-in and overnight at Forum Continental****.

Day 3 October 31st; SIBIU - HUNEDOARA
Breakfast Departure from Forum Hotel at 09.15 with a walking tour of the Old District. Sibiu is one of the most important fortified towns in Transylvania. The city is reminiscent of old European cities such as Nuremberg and it was founded in 1190 and grew to be the chief city of the Transylvanian Saxons. This amazing town, with the "Old Town" (The Big Square, the Small Square, the Ursuline Church, The Franciscan Church, The staircase Tower, the Tanners Tower, the Lier’s Bridge, the House of the Butcher’s Guild and last but not least with the amazing Bruckenthal Museum) is a gorgeous place to see.
Free time between 12.00-14.00. At 14:00 from Forum Continental we’ll leave on the way to Hunedoara. Estimated arrival in Hunedoara at 16:00, check-in the Rusca Hotel, 3 stars.
Departure from the Rusca Hotel at 19:30 and get ready for the amazing party at Hunyad’s Castle, the residence of the brave Transylvanian Governor – John Hunyad (Iancu de Hunedoara). The castle built in XV century is the biggest medieval castle from Romania and it’s also considered one of the most haunted places from Europe. There are good chances that the famous Vlad Tepes to be spent couple days in this castle as a prisoner.

Halloween Party. Are you ready to spend the Halloween night in a very old medieval castle? Get ready to fit in the old medieval atmosphere full of mystical legends. The 15 century castle is ready to host you this night and to reveals you its history and hidden secrets. As soon as you’ll pass the entrance gate you’ll be in a medieval world and get ready to experience it. Remember that medieval means old customs, old music, old legends and mysticism.
During the buffet dinner enjoy Romanian cuisine, live medieval and Romanian folk music, dancers. Drinks are also included, all night open bar with wine, beer, coffee, water, soft drinks. The special shows of medieval knights, lights and sounds will complete the evening.
At midnight Count Dracula will invite you to his wedding. To decline is not acceptable. Participate to a special show and then party. But remember, is the Halloween night and Hunyad’s Castle is one of the most haunted places from Europe, a place where nobody dare to spend the night alone. So the ghosts and spirits can join you during the night. Don’t get lost in to the castle! Don’t go behind the locked doors! Don’t disturb the spirits! Otherwise…….
The party ends at 02:00, but there are transfers with bus every 20 minutes starting from 23:00 to 02:20.

Check-out latest at 09:45.
Departure at 10.00 hours we’ll leave from Hunedoara to Alba Iulia, estimated arrival 11:30, a city with long history dating since the ancient times. During a walking tour you will visit the Orthodox Cathedral, Catholic Cathedral, the fortification system built in “Vauban” style.
Lunch will be served at 13:00 in “Pub 13”, a restaurant with medieval thematic style.
Set-meniu with drinks included (coffee, water and soft drinks).
Departure from Alba Iulia at 15:00, in the evening arrive at Sighisoara, estimated arrival at 18:00. Also called “The Pearl of Transylvania” the old medieval city is included in the UNESCO's Word Heritage. The Old Town or the Citadel is the only one still inhabited in Europe - a lost world and still so at the present!
Check-in at Central Park Hotel**** and Korona Hotel****.

Day 5 November 2nd; SIGHISOARA – BRAN - BRASOV
Breakfast between 07:00-08:30.
Check-out latest at 08:45.
Departure from the hotel at 09.00 in a walking tour of Sighisoara old citadel (old town).
The Clock Tower, the Church on the Hill, the Scholar’s Stairs, The Monastery Church, the towers of the citadel (originally fourteen), The Shoemakers Town, the Tailor’s Tower, the Tinsmiths Tower are only a few of the marvels of this place called Sighisoara.
Departure at 11:00 from Sighisoara to Brasov and going through a route which cross beautiful old German villages.
Estimated arrival in Brasov at 13.00, We’ll have a short walking tour of Brasov’s Old Town. Highlights: Weaver’s Bastion, Ecaterina’s Gate, Black Church, Council Square.
At 15:00, lunch in the hotel restaurant, Set-meniu with drinks included (coffee, water and soft drinks).
Check-in the Aro Palace Hotel*****.
Free time at your leisure until 6.00 PM. Meet in front of the Aro Palace Hotel and we’ll depart on the way to Bran, estimated arrival at 19:00, where you’ll be invited for a Special Event at Bran Castle on the Night time. We’ll have a private visit (exclusively for the members of our groups) after visiting hours, in the most famous castle from Romania followed at 20:00 by a farewell special dinner on the castle’s domain at the local restaurant “Queens Tea House”, set meniu dinner 3 courses with drinks included (wine or beer, coffee, water, soft drinks). Departure from Bran at 22:00 back to Brasov, overnight at Aro Palace Hotel*****.

Day 6. November 3rd BRASOV - SNAGOV – BUCHAREST
Breakfast between 06:30-09:00.
Check-out latest at 09:15. Departure from Brasov at 9.30.
We’ll continue on the route to Vlad the Impaler’s (Dracula) grave. For that we’ll go to Snagov, a small village 40 km north of Bucharest, with its beautiful lake, estimated arrival 11:00. In the centre of the lake is an island occupied by a monastery, built in 1519. The Snagov monastery is situated on the island of the lake with the same name, Visitors come here to see the tomb of Dracula sitting in the front of the church altar. Vlad's murder is believed to have occurred in the forests nearby, where the monks took his body, since both Vlad and his father had both given money to the monastery.
Continue to Bucharest. Panoramic tour of the city (outside visits only). Highlights: Triumph arch, Athenaeum, Revolution Square, Royal Palace, Parliament Palace, Unirii Square.
The panoramic tour will end aprox 14.30.
Time at your leisure in Bucharest Old Town – 3 hrs.
At 17.30 meet and we’ll depart on the way to the hotel.
Check-in aprox 18:00 at Rin Airport Hotel****, located near Bucharest International Airport.
Farewell dinner at 19.30 in the hotel restaurant.

Day 7th November 4th: BUCHAREST – departure
Breakfast between 06:30-10:00 (package breakfast available on request for early check-out). Check-out latest at 11:00.
