This tour is designed to offer an unique experience in Transylvania and a real chance to discover the history, the traditional and cultural values of Romanian people. During the tour we are offering some exclusive private events, dedicated to your group only. You’ll visit the most important sights of Transylvania as: medieval towns, fortresses and castles, ancient Dacian citadel, charming old villages and you can see and meet local people and local craftsmen.
Special Events:
Cave – Show, Meal and Party – following the history of the ancient civilizations on this land, the Dacians and the Romans, we invite you to an unique event, organized in a cave. During the time (aprox 4 hours) you’ll learn about the ancient history, local legends and you’ll assist to an entire show inspired from those times, with thematic dancers, music instruments, aso. Meal will be served with thematic foods and drinks, too.
Medieval Evening at Hunyad Castle – have a journey back in time and feel as a princess or as a knight in 15th century. Everything being organized in the biggest castle from Romania and one of the most impressive from Europe – Hunyad Castle. Thematic shows, firecamp, barbeque, medieval dinner.
Traditional Wedding – be our guests for a special event in which we are recreating a traditional wedding in an old Romanian village, following all the customs and traditions in a wedding day. You’ll be the witnesses and the participants to all the moments of the ceremony, including the big party with traditional food, folk singers and dancers, aso. It is an interactive event with the local people.
After all these events we can guarantee that you’ll have an unforgettable experience in Transylvania and you’ll be able to share thousands of unique photos.
 
Day by day intinerary:
 
Day 1. Arrival in Bucharest
Transfer to your hotel. Welcome dinner at your hotel.
Accomodation: 4 stars hotel in Bucharest, Ramada or similar.
 
Day 2 Bucharest – Bran – Sibiu
In the morning we’ll have a panoramic tour of Bucharest – the capital of Romania.
Depart on the way to Bran Castle, a 14th century medieval castle, famous due to the Dracula’s legend. Lunch will be served in a restaurant near Bran castle.
End the day in Sibiu. Dinner on your own. Overnight a Ramada Hotel**** or similar
 
Day 3 Sibiu – Sighisoara – Sibiu
We’ll go to visit the medieval citadel of Sighisoara (UNESCO site) considered one of the most charming medieval towns still preserved and inhabited in Europe. The town was founded by the Saxons (German) settlers in the end of 12th century. The famous Vlad Dracula was born in 1431 in this town. Lunch will be served in Sighisoara.
 
Then we’ll return in the area of Sibiu in an old village to be part of the first special event of the tour – The Traditional Wedding. We’ll recreate a traditional wedding in an old Romanian village, following all the customs and traditions in a wedding day. You’ll be the witnesses and the participants to all the moments of the ceremony, including the big party with traditional food, folk singers and dancers, aso. Interactive with local people.
In the evening return to Sibiu. Overnight in the same hotel.
 
Day 4 Sibiu – Hunedoara
In the morning we’ll visit the Old Town of Sibiu, the biggest and the largest medieval town from Transylvania, Dating since 12th century. Free time in Sibiu. Lunch on your own.
Next we’ll drive o Hunedoara, check-in at Rusca Hotel and get ready for the second special event.

Day 5 Hunedoara – Sarmisegetuza – Cave Event – Sibiu
First stop will be at Sarmisegetuza, the former capital citadel of the Dacians, the ancient people which inhabited the territory of Romania. Learn more about their history and about the Roman conquest in early 2nd century.
Following this stories and legends we’ll go to a cave situated in the mountains under the ruins of an old Dacian fortress and settlement which was never conquered.
Here you’ll be part of the third special event of our tour – Cave – Show, Lunch and Party, an unique event, organized in a cave. During the time (aprox 4 hours) you’ll learn about the ancient history, local legends and you’ll assist to a show inspired from those times, with thematic dancers, singing instruments. Meal will be served with thematic foods and drinks, too.
Return in the evening to Sibiu. Dinner on your own.
Overnight in Sibiu at Ramada Hotel**** or similar.
  
Day 6 Sibiu – Brasov – Sinaia – Bucharest
We’ll go on the route to Brasov. Visit the Old Town, dating since 13th century. Next we’ll drive to Sinaia and we’ll visit Peles Castle, former royal residence and one of the best castles in Europe. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant.
End the day in Bucharest. Farewell dinner in the hotel.
Overnight at Rin Airport Hotel****, located in the airport area.
 
Day 7 Bucharest – departure.
Transfer to the airport according with the flight times.
