Day 1. Tuesday, October 29th; BUCHAREST – SNAGOV – PREJMER – BRASOV
In the morning between 8.00-9.00 AM we’ll organize a pick-up from the hotels located in the central part of Bucharest. We’ll have a panoramic tour of Bucharest. Highlights: Parliament Palace, Revolution Square, Athenaeum, Royal Palace, Triumph Arch, Victoriei Avenue, etc
Then we’ll travel on the route to Transylvania crossing the scenic Carpathians mountains using the beautiful Prahova Valley.
First visit of our trip will be at Snagov monastery, located on a lake, it used to be a fortified monastery in the time of Vlad Dracula and it is believed that his tomb is located there.
Next we’ll continue across the Carpathians Mountains through the beautiful Prahova River Valley. Along the route we’ll have a stop where you can buy a quick lunch (sandwiches , pastry, etc) on your own expense.
On the other side of the mountains, in Transylvania we’ll visit a unique place included in the UNESCO Heritages List – Prejmer fortified church. Built starting with 13th century it is a sample of a religious and defensive system, used as a refuge by the local villagers in the Middle Ages.
End the day in Brasov – approx. 4.00 PM.

Day 2. Wednesday, October 30th ; BRASOV – Private Halloween Party at Bran Castle
Breakfast between 07-10.00
Meet with your tour guide at 10.00. Start a walking tour of Brasov’s Historic Town.
Highlights: Council Square, Black Church, Ecaterina’s Gate, Weaver’s Bastion, White and Black towers, St Nicholas church.
Few people know that the famous Vlad Dracula has spent a few years in Brasov, doing trades and having a love affair with the beautiful Katharina.
The tour ends around 13.00 hrs. Time at your leisure to have lunch and to get ready for the Halloween party.
At 17.00 hrs we’ll depart on the route to Bran castle, where you’ll be invited to a:
Private Halloween Party inside of the Bran castle
It is a private event, dedicated just for the members of our groups (approx. 80-90 people).
The whole castle is rented for us until 23.00 hrs.
We’ll start with a night time tour of the castle guided by Vlad himself. You’ll have access to the majority of rooms including some which are not included in the standard tours.
During the event a fine Halloween dinner will be served with a 3 course meal and Bran castle wine and plum brandy.
Halloween party in the castle’s living room with music and dance.
Halloween costumes are highly recommended.
Around midnight we will return to the hotel. Overnight at the same hotel
Day 3. Thursday, October 31st; BRASOV – RUPEA - SIGHISOARA
Breakfast between 07:00-10.00
At 10,30 and depart on the route to Sighisoara – the birthplace of Vlad Dracula.
On the route we’ll stop to visit Rupea fortress (14th century) , another sample of the Transylvanian defensive system.
Around 13.30 we’ll arrive at Sighisoara, one of the better preserved medieval towns from Transylvania. We’ll have a walking tour of Sighisoara’s historic centre. Highlights are: The Clock Tower, the Church on the Hill, the Scholar’s Stairs, The Monastery Church, the towers of the citadel (originally fourteen), The Shoemakers Town, the Tailor’s Tower, the Tinsmiths Tower.
Time at your leisure for lunch and souvenirs shopping (between 15.00-18.00 hrs).
At 18.00 we’ll go in a small family cellar where we’ll taste the local plum / pear brandy and fruit liqueurs, made after an old traditional family recipe.
At 19.00 hrs we’ll have a second Halloween Special Dinner in an old restaurant from Dracula’s birthplace.
Overnight in Sighisoara in a 3 stars hotel, located in the historic town.
Day 4. Friday, Nov 1st. SIGHISOARA – CORVIN’S CASTLE – SIBIU
Breakfast between 07:00-9.00
At 9.30 departure from the hotel on the route to Hunedoara where we’ll visit the Corvin’s castle, the biggest medieval castle from Romania, built in 15th century.
We’ll end the day in Sibiu, one of the oldest and biggest medieval towns from Transylvania and former capital of this region. We’ll have a walking tour of the Sibiu’s Old District. The city is reminiscent of old European cities such as Nuremberg and it was founded in 1190 and grew to be the chief city of the Transylvanian Saxons. Highlights: the Big Square, the Small Square, The staircase Tower, the Lier’s Bridge, Evangelical, Catholic and Orthodox Cathedrals, medieval wall and fortifications.
Overnight in a 4 stars hotel from Sibiu.
Day 5. Saturday, Nov 2nd. SIBIU – BUCHAREST
Breakfast between 07:00-9.00. Check-out latest at 9.00
9.00 AM - departure by bus on the route to Bucharest, crossing the mountains through the beautiful Olt River Valley. Stop on the route at Cozia monastery, built in 14th century.
Arrive in Bucharest around 3.00 PM. Drop-off at your hotel in Bucharest (for central located hotels).

Payments
To secure your booking a deposit of 100 euro/person is required. For Early Booking offer the deposit is 30%.
The final payment has to be made with minimum 30 days prior the tour start.

If an emergency situation occurs (pandemic, disasters, revolution, war, etc) and the Romanian authorities or the authorities from the traveler’s country impose restrictions to travel, to enter or leave the country, the cancellation can be made anytime without any penalty.Standard conditions. No penalty apply if the cancellation is made with minimum 30 days prior the tour. Any deposit paid will be refunded in maximum 10 days.
50 % penalty fee apply if the cancellation is made with 5-29 days prior the our departure.
100% penalty fee apply if the cancellation is made with less than 5 days prior the tour start or in case of NO SHOW.
